Terms of Use for Memento

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Memento mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of the Service

Memento is a productivity application that allows users to create, manage, and organize personal tasks and to-do lists. The App stores task-related data in order to provide its core functionality.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal device for personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or its infrastructure

User Content

The App allows you to create and store content such as tasks, notes, and related information ("User Content").

You are solely responsible for the content you create, store, or share using the App. You agree not to use the App to store or distribute any content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or that violates the rights of others.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your information.

Task data and related information may be stored using Supabase, a third-party infrastructure provider used to support the functionality of the App.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, branding, and overall functionality, is the property of its developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or any of its components.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of productivity, service interruptions, or other intangible losses.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
